"On The Map"




a phrase to indicate that someone or something is famous. (credit by me)

 sample dialog: 
Amy: Give the guy a chance, Rhonda, invite him to the party?
Rhonda: Are you kidding? He's not even on the map!

Again, I got this phrase from TV shows. First was from Kitchen Boss and the second one was from Castle. I thought the phrase has the literal meaning, like, it's printed on the map of United States or something. Turns out it only means someone or something is famous enough for everyone to notice.

I tried to look it up on urbandictionary or mr.google, by the way, but couldn't find it lol. Might as well as rely on my own source.
