I used this mask after I washed my face. When I opened it, I could somehow smell a faint smell of alcohol. (Uh-oh, not good.) The alcohol smell immediately went away as I put it on my face, and it's replaced by some herbal scent.

And what surprised me, the mask color is brown. (Uh-oh, another no good point in my book.) The color of the mask is similar to my skin-tone so it almost didn't feel like wearing mask at all hahaha!

The mask itself is not really rich in substance; I tried to peek inside the sachet and could see that there's only a little essence left.

Per instruction, I only wore it for 10 minutes since I could really feel it's already half-dried after 8 minutes or so. And guess what? I think this mask made my face a liiiiiittle yellowish.

 so many duckies

I double-checked that the color is accurate, by the way. The most-left is my BEFORE picture. And as you can see, the AFTER picture, my skin looked a little yellow.

I'm not sure if I should put a toner or not after I used the mask, so I just left it like so. But it made me slightly uncomfortable cuz when I touched my face... it felt mildly sticky. Huh. So after 15 minutes I gave up and patted my face with cotton + toner. And as I swiped it.... LOL. Much to my surprise, the cotton turned to be yellowish. I didn't apply anything after I used the mask, so I'm pretty sure that color came from the essence.

Well, well, well. A mask-sheet with colorant? That's new.

CONCLUSIONS:
  • contains too many allergens.
  • the existence of the colorant really, really disturbs me
  • you're supposed to moisturize me, mask-sheet, not making my skin all sticky and uncomfortabol. mask-sheet, youre drunk.
  • it says that it's made from real nature mask red ginseng. riiiiight.

REPURCHASE:
Absolutely nah. I still love The Faceshop, though. I think I'll try my hands on all mask-sheets they have!
